Our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Merton, is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join their thriving department. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in January 2025.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an individual who possesses:
- A degree in Design & Technology or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A proven track record of delivering engaging and effective Design & Technology lessons to secondary school students
- A passion for inspiring young minds and fostering creativity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering inspiring Design & Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Designing and implementing a challenging and innovative curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the department's teaching and learning strategies
- Contributing to the wider school community
