Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching all sciences to Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring a solid foundation in scientific principles.
• Specialising in Biology at Key Stage 5, developing advanced lessons to inspire students.
• Designing and delivering engaging lessons that make Biology come to life for students.
• Regularly assessing students’ progress and providing constructive feedback to help them excel.
• Collaborating with fellow teachers to improve the science curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Staying up-to-date with developments in Biology and incorporating relevant trends into lessons.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Biology, or a related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Biology at the secondary level.
• A passion for Biology education and inspiring students to explore the subject at an advanced level.
