Job Summary

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to help students access the curriculum effectively.

• Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCo, teachers, and therapists.
• Support the emotional wellbeing of students and help them develop independence and confidence.
• Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.
• Assist with classroom activities, including behaviour management and resource preparation.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, staff training, and development sessions to stay informed on SEN best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience working with students with SEN in a school or similar setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies, behaviour management, and inclusive education.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and creativity to effectively support students with diverse needs.
• Commitment to professional development and a passion for supporting SEN learners.
• Enhanced DBS check and legal right to work in the UK.
