  • Temporary position (January 2025 to July 2025).
  • Full-time position.
  • Three-form-entry.

Teaching Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse needs of children, focusing specifically on KS2 curriculum requirements, and learning objectives.
  • Employ effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire children, ensuring that academic goals are met.
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing consistent feedback and setting KS2 (reception) improvement targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create curriculum materials that enhance learning experiences and share best practices for KS2 education.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respectful behaviour and positive relationships among KS2 children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on KS2 student progress and address any concerns specific to KS2.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required, with a focus on KS2 educational strategies.

Requirements:
 
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching KS2 pupils in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up to date with the latest educational practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
