Exciting Opportunity: Year 6 Teacher (Full-Time, Temporary)
Are you an experienced and passionate educator ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners? We are seeking an outstanding Year 6 Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive primary school in the heart of London. This is a full-time, temporary position starting in January 2025 and continuing until July 2025.
The Role:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through their final year of primary education, preparing them for a successful transition to secondary school. You will have the opportunity to deliver an engaging and comprehensive Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum, fostering both academic achievement and personal growth. This is a role for an experienced teacher, and ECTs are not suitable for this position.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching core KS2 subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, and Religious Education.
- Preparing students for end-of-Key-Stage assessments and ensuring they meet their full potential.
- Inspiring a love of learning and building confidence in each student’s abilities.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriched learning experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven classroom teaching experience at the primary level, ideally within the Year 6 age range.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
- A commitment to fostering both academic success and personal development.
