Are you an experienced and passionate educator ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners? We are seeking an outstanding Year 6 Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive primary school in the heart of London. This is a full-time, temporary position starting in January 2025 and continuing until July 2025.

The Role:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through their final year of primary education, preparing them for a successful transition to secondary school. You will have the opportunity to deliver an engaging and comprehensive Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum, fostering both academic achievement and personal growth. This is a role for an experienced teacher, and ECTs are not suitable for this position.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching core KS2 subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, and Religious Education.
  • Preparing students for end-of-Key-Stage assessments and ensuring they meet their full potential.
  • Inspiring a love of learning and building confidence in each student’s abilities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriched learning experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven classroom teaching experience at the primary level, ideally within the Year 6 age range.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • A commitment to fostering both academic success and personal development.

What We Offer:
The school provides a vibrant and supportive environment, dedicated to nurturing each child’s individual strengths. Joining our team means:

  • Being part of a school that values diversity, inclusion, and community spirit.
  • Delivering a well-rounded curriculum that balances traditional academic subjects with creative and physical activities.
  • Working in a collaborative setting where professional development and excellence are encouraged.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact during a pivotal stage in students’ educational journeys, helping them grow into confident, capable, and curious learners.

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time, temporary (January 2025 – July 2025).
  • Salary: MPS Inner London.
  • Start Date: January 2025.

If you are an experienced teacher ready to inspire and support Year 6 students as they prepare for their next chapter, we’d love to hear from you!
