Teaching Responsibilities:
- Develop, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse needs of children, focusing specifically on EY (reception) curriculum requirements and learning objectives.
- Employ effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire children, ensuring that academic goals are met.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing consistent feedback and setting EY (reception) improvement targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create curriculum materials that enhance learning experiences and share best practices for EY (reception) education.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respectful behaviour and positive relationships among EY (reception) children.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on EY (reception) student progress and address any concerns specific to EY (reception).
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required, with a focus on EY (reception) educational strategies.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching EY (reception) children in a primary school setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up to date with the latest educational practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
