Key Responsibilities of the Year 6 Teacher:

• Teaching the Year 6 curriculum, ensuring all students are prepared for their SATs and transition to secondary school.
• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of Year 6 pupils.
• Providing tailored support to individuals and groups to boost attainment and confidence, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and readiness for the next stage of education.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment where Year 6 pupils feel empowered to take risks, ask questions, and thrive.
• Assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback, and working with parents to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
