Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the Year 6 curriculum and prepare students for secondary school.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment, encouraging academic success and personal growth.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support preparation for SATs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate regularly with parents about student progress.

Year 6 Teacher Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience in primary education, with a preference for candidates who have worked with Year 6.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
