We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our thriving Humanities department.

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified Humanities Teacher to inspire and engage our students. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge across the Humanities disciplines (e.g., Geography, History, RE) and a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable)
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Contributing to the development of the Humanities curriculum
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department and across the school
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
  • Participating in school events and activities

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A strong academic background in Humanities subjects
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Humanities
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • A commitment to high standards of achievement and behaviour
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
