Responsibilities of a Year 6 Teacher:

• Guide and support children through their first steps in KS2, creating a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Deliver the KS2 curriculum, focusing on the individual needs of each child, helping them build on strengths and overcome challenges.
• Focus on further developing maths skills, including fractions, statistics, and geometry.
• Monitor and track children’s progress, providing updates to parents as needed.

Year 6 Teacher Requirements:

• QTS, PGCE, and a strong academic record.
• Creative, adaptable, and passionate about teaching.
• A proven track record of success in a Year 6 setting.
• Excellent communication skills to inspire both children and parents.
