A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Southwark is looking for a dedicated SEN Behaviour Mentor to provide support to students with behavioural challenges and additional needs. This is a key role for someone passionate about improving students' emotional well-being and promoting positive behaviour.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide targeted mentoring for students with emotional and behavioral needs, fostering self-regulation and resilience.
- Develop and implement behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Deliver one-on-one and group interventions, focusing on social skills, emotional well-being, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, the SENCo, and parents to create consistent support plans.
- Monitor and document student progress, sharing insights and recommendations during meetings.
- Promote an inclusive learning environment that encourages positive interactions and engagement.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for students, building strong relationships to support their overall development.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in a similar role supporting students with SEN and behavioral challenges.
- A strong understanding of behavior management strategies and emotional support techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Enhanced DBS check and the legal right to work in the UK.
