Year 3/4 Teacher Responsibilities
- · Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 3/4 students.
- · Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students.
- · Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
- · Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
- · Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
- · Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
- · Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required.
Year 3/4 Teacher Requirements
- · Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- · Proven experience teaching Year 3/4 students in a primary school setting.
- · Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
- · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- · Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
- · Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
