This is a spectacular primary school based in Luton. It is easily accessible by public transport and is seeking to appoint a qualified Primary teacher from January 2025. The school has a Good Ofsted rating and a supportive culture, making it an excellent place for both students and staff members.
Responsibilities of a Year 6 teacher:
As a Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment. You will teach the KS2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses. You will also keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.
Year 6 Teacher requirements:
- QTS, PGCE
- Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6 environment.
